Where Power Meets Precision - Unleash Your Machine's True Potential
Look, we're not gonna feed you some corporate BS about being "customer-focused" or "detail-oriented." Yeah, we care about our customers and yeah, we're meticulous - but that's just baseline stuff, right?
Here's the real deal: we're a bunch of gearheads who got tired of seeing shops either charge premium prices for mediocre work or treat high-performance builds like they're just oil changes. Started Dreadthorn back in 2012 in a cramped two-bay shop because we wanted to do things properly.
We've grown since then - bigger space, better tools, more hands on deck - but the core principle hasn't changed. Your ride gets the same obsessive attention whether it's a weekend project car or a six-figure resto-mod. We don't do half-measures, and we definitely don't do shortcuts.
Every engine we build, every suspension setup we dial in, every electrical gremlin we chase down - it's gotta meet our standards before it rolls out. And trust me, we're picky as hell.

Started with just two bays and a dream. Basically me and my buddy Jake working 70-hour weeks, building turbo kits in our sleep. First year was rough - lived on coffee and instant noodles - but we built some seriously wicked machines.
Word got around about the quality of our work, and suddenly we're booked solid three months out. Moved to the Industrial Way location - six bays, proper lift equipment, and finally a dyno. Game changer.
One of our builds - a '69 Camaro resto-mod - took Best in Show at the Vancouver Custom Car Exhibition. That put us on the map for real. Started getting calls from collectors with some absolutely insane project requests.
Brought on Marcus for fabrication work and Steph for electrical systems. Both absolute wizards at what they do. Also added a dedicated classic restoration bay with climate control for those vintage beauties.
Running strong with a team of eight skilled techs, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and a reputation that speaks for itself. Still the same obsessive attention to detail, just with better coffee.
Don't just take our word for it
Whether it's a performance build, restoration project, or just sorting out some issues, let's talk about your ride.
